About Language Deprivation

Deaf people live around the world. With no Deaf community, we would be isolated. When we meet another Deaf person, we feel connection because of our shared experiences. Even in another country with a different sign language, we feel this connection. If others beyond our community can see the value of Deaf community, Deaf culture and sign language, they can support our lifestyle and in doing so, would support Deaf children and any person who needs it to acquire their natural sign language. What is truly inclusive? A society that celebrates sign language and Deaf generated arts by Deaf performers for ALL audiences together.
